If I use AF-ON to focus (until the green dot appears in the viewfinder), then release AF-ON, then take the photo using the shutter (configured to do only metering when half-pressed and not AF), then AF+10 is not shown when previewing the photo and I deduce from that that AF microadjustment is not being applied by the 6D.Īs I mentioned in my first post, I would love that AF microadjustment be systematically applied even when the AF-ON button is released (after establishing focus of course). Here’s a blown up image of the Nikon D3 and Nikkor 28-105 f/3.5-4.5D combo at 105mm: it looks like the lens front focuses slightly.

If you find that you have focusing problems.

Will changing the settings for say 50mtrs effect focus at 25mtrs.

Is that a plus or minus on the canon 1dx m2 in micro focus.
#CANON MICRO FOCUS ADJUSTMENT HOW TO#
I don't release the shutter after focusing) or Hi, My sigma at 820mm yes tc fitted seems to focus behind the subjects at extreme ranges, seems good at around 25m how to adjust.

For photos with AF microadjustment, AF+10 is shown (+10 is what I've set my 6D to do with the lens I'm using). The way I'm confirming whether AF microadjustment is being applied or not is by looking at the preview after taking a photo.
